  1. 3 Accomplishments

    1. I began work on my results, discussion, and conclusion. These are among the final parts of my research paper.

    2. By this Friday, I will have completed all of my maps and my research poster.

    3. I fixed one of my maps. Here is a screenshot. It outlines the total population of African Americans in Mississippi counties by 1870.

  2. 3 Obstacles

    1. I was having serious trouble remembering how to join attributes correctly in GIS.

    2. I had to separate data for my homelessness map because the data was inconclusive.

    3. Because of the first point, I did not learn fully how to make my map online and operational on my website.

  3. 3 Things Learned

    1. I learned in part how graduate applications work from a few select people, especially some insider secrets that would be hard to learn otherwise.

    2. I learned how to set up a workflow for my n8n chatbot.

    3. Using Dr. Stan's videos, I now know the basics of Q and setting up the foundations of my map.

  4. Project Updates: What's Next?

    1. Complete two other maps.

    2. Learn how to use Gephi.

    3. Put maps online.
